Amer Fort Timings and Light show timings

Amber fort or Amer Fort is situated at around 11 kilometres north of the city of Jaipur next to the NH-8.

The fort was built on the Kalikho hills created by the Aravalli ranges.

The fort was deliberately constructed amongst the Aravalli ranges along with the Maotha Lake and the Sagar Lake. Lots of directions along NH-8 offer an astounding sight of the fort as it is reflected at the same time in the Maotha Lake.

The fort was recognized in the 16th century by the Kachhwaha sovereigns but only after they had ruined the older architectural styles that had been built by the Meena clan. The major tourist attractions in the fort comprise:

The fort was just 11 kilometers away from the capital city of Jaipur, Amer Fort is covered in pink and yellow stonework and is a great division of a wide-ranging complex.

Constructed by one of the most reliable generals of Akbar, Maharaja Man Singh I in the year 1592, Amer Fort provides as the main dwelling of the Rajput Rulers.

The Amer Fort through its vast battlements, several accesses, and smooth paths ignores the Maotha Lake in the city of Amer, which used to offer as the capital of the former Jaipur huge state.

The fort is large enough that it will take you at least two to three hours to travel around it thoroughly, and you can also opt to benefit of the audio guides to take you through this mesmerizing building while defining the history of the place.

Taking an elephant ride up the staircases to the Amber Fort is also a famous tourist activity. The fort notices over five thousand visitors every day and fairly, the Amer Fort was introduced into UNESCO World Heritage Site list as part of the “Hill Forts of Rajasthan” together with five other forts
